Ana Teixeira de Sousa
Partner at FSO Consultores since 2005.
Degree in Law from the Faculty of Law at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa de Lisboa, with post-graduate studies in European Studies / Community Law from the same university.
At FSO Consultores she is responsible for the tax support within direct taxes, whether individuals or organisations, and international tax.
Ana Teixeira de Sousa began her career in a legal tax office and later on she was part of the staff of two auditing and consultancy multinationals, in the tax department, where she was in charge of the area of direct taxation in the insurance sector and of the area of pension plans and funds. Between 1988 and 1990 she worked together with the Office of Documentation and Comparative Law of the Portuguese Attorney General, in the Community Law area.
Teacher of the Post-Graduation in Taxation at ISCTE/IUL and lecturer of the Post-Graduation in Taxation at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Author and co-author of several presentations within the tax and social security areas, in technical seminars and conferences and author of several articles about tax issues and private providence, in technical magazines and newspapers. She is Arbitrator of the Tax Arbitral Tribunal of the Arbitration Administrative Centre (CAAD).
